I know I have not blogged in a long time. I am slackin! Well today, I went to Jenny Craig and bought some new food. I started Jenny again. I am happy, I need to lose alot of weight. Tony even helped me pay for half. He is helping me too. 

We also went hiking at Grant Nature Park with Gracie. I also just got back from a walk with Gracie. Now, I am cleaning the house. Well not as we speak, but I have been.

Not much is happening in my life right now, next week is my vacation. I sure need one! Beth, my friend, her wedding is next Friday. Can't wait to see her walk down the aisle!

Walks with Gracie

It is soo funny to talk walks with Gracie and Tony. When Gracie starts to yank my arm out of socket, Tony runs up behind Gracie and tickles her hips and pinches them. Gracie then turns around and jumps on Tony. Thinking she is playing with him... The whole entire walk Gracie keeps turning around looking up at him. Keeping her eyes on him. Its hilarous. I just laugh the whole time. She sometimes looks up at me, wondering when I am going to pinch her. She then slows down and walk really nicely with us. Its a beautiful thing.

So in the end, I still have my arm in place and Gracie is now a slow walker. We just now have to teach her not to pull and bark at other walkers and dogs. Its ear percing when she barks right in your ear while driving in the car.

Why do dogs bark at other dogs? Just think, it would be really wierd if humans barked at eachother all day.

Tired...

I know I have not been posting blogs lately, I have been lazy or real busy. Mom and Dad just invited Tony and I over for hamburgers on the grill. They were awesome, I am stuffed.

I am thinking and wanting to get my windows tinted so bad! I will try to quotes from car places. My friend Tim said T's, I guess in Dayton are real cheap but good. Ill look into that... Ill post some before and afters...

Later tonight, Tony and I are going to go see the movie Monsters vs. Alliens. I heard it was really funny. We will see soon. It starts at 8:40 and I am sooo tired!

New wedding date

We have changed the wedding date from May 8,2010 to now April 10th, 2010. Why you ask?! well mom said they do not make flowers for weddings on mothers day weekend. I guess they are real busy. The following weekend might be bad for Rachel, my cousin. She might be graduating at Purdue. 

I do not want a summer wedding and the first weekend in April is Easter. I cant win! So now it is April 10, 2010. Please mark your calenders. Oh yeah, and the band said they would switch the date too!

House Hunting part 2

Well, Tony and I just got back from looking at 5-6 houses. The first house was awesome and we want it! It had a finished basement, a huge deck out back, which might to be repaired, big and spacious kitchen and eatery...the house house Tony likes. Here are few listings we saw. The one Tony likes was on Robertann St. The whole house needs new flooring. The late owners had it built in 1960. It was still decorated from 1960! We walked in and the carpet was neon yellow/green! Hopefully, we can find a house we like. When we went and saw the first house, couple houses down from that one there was a house with a huge porch out front. Updated everything, new garage, new front door. My realtor stopped and called the number out front. He said that we will have to make an apt to go see the insides but the owner is going through a nasty divorce and is trying to sell the property for $140,000. Jay, my realtor then said it is going through something called short sale. Which means it needs to sell so he thinks it might go for $110,000 and with all of the updates it might be nice! Cross your fingers!

Tonight, we are going to my cousin's baseball Monte Carlo party. It is at a country club in Miamisburg. Ill try to remember to bring my camera!

Warm Weekends!

This past weekend was GREAT weather! Tony and I were actually both off that weekend too. Saturday morning we went to John Bryant park and hiked. A warm/cool breeze was very nice. We took Gracie too. We came home and showered then went to Mom and Dad's house to see Sarah and Addison. They were here for a haircut. CUTE hair Sarah! I love it. Saturday nite, Tony, Eric (his bro) and I went to a fish fry in Vandaila. It was ok. There were alot of colorful people there. We had food and sat around drinking beers and taking everyone in. I called these two old ladies. They were hilarous. Reminded me of the red hat ladies. They walked in and came straight to our table and asked if they can sit with us. They were hilarious.  We left the fish fry at 8pm We were in bed by 930pm. We are so old going to bed early.

Sunday at 4pm, Tony and I went to go look at some houses to buy. Mostly in Kettering. They were so run down and nasty I said NO to all of them. The first one was on Hackney Dr. Tony like it but I thought it was way too little. The kitchen was so small there was no room for a kitchen table. The other house was off of Ackerman. Two old ladies lived there and they were still there when we walked, watching TruTV, they wanted us to stay and watch it with them. We walked around and walked right out. The smell was so bad it reminded me of an old folks home. Moth balls and medicine. The carpet was installed on concrete, no padding. Major redo! The other houses just went down hill from there. This one kitchen had pale yellow cabinets with mint green and peach inlays. SICK, the laminate floors were coming up with 4 different layers under. The basement also had puddles. 

Tony came home and made steak salad and sour cream apple pie. So yummy!! He looked up some addresses that are foreclosed/bank  owned. I emailed these addresses to my realitor, Hopefully he will find us a perfect house! Cross your fingers! 

Monday when I got home from work at 1pm, I saw a package at the front door. Tony had bought me Cheryl Burke's work out videos. He remembered me talking about them and he bought them. Thank you sooo much! 

Gracie's Butt=Gross!

Today was my day off. Full pack day! I went to JuJu;s  hair salon and got a touch up plus trim off my dry ends. Then Tony and I went to Hobby Lobby. I am starting to love this place! Tony and I found silver velum for our invites. It is going to be the shiny black paper with silver velum over, tied with a red bow. Very sharp!

Then I took Gracie to Petsmart by my work. They gave HD associates free check up coupons, she also needed her anal glands squeezed. Gross you say, well the doctor even asked me next time i come she will show me how to do it internally so I can do it at home! HOW SICK IS THAT? well I will save $20 each time! Just pop on a glove and squeeze!! HAHA....

I came home cleaned up our room... The other day, Tony changed our room around and bought me a chinese lantern to hang in the middle of the room. Makes our room look allot bigger! Here is a picture...

Yes i know... i have to clean on top of Gracie's cage. Well the headboard was on the wall to the left. Now it is behind the camera. We also got new comforters. From Ikea. Down comforters for only $20. Great deal. Tony got a king size and I got a queen. We have to have our own blankets cuz one of us will steal blankets. I like my own!

OFF!

WOW I am a blog slacker! At least Sarah keeps hers up! Well today was one of my days off. The other night Tony and I were watching Bobby Flay cook-off for lasagna. It looked yummy so I decided to make some. The very first time I have ever made it. It was actually good. I took it over to mom and dad's. They loved it too! I messed up with the bottom noodles. I ran out of sauce and cheese. It made the noodles hard. Next time, it will turn out better! But it wasn't bad!

Also, today was wedding planning. I have been looking into reception sites. Called a few of them also called the photographer. Tony is planning on taking me to Hilton Head Islands for the honeymoon. I cant wait to get away! I need a vaca from work.

Poor Civic got stuck!

What a day! Beth called me and asked if I could come to her house and help her with a project she needs done for work. Well when I was coming up to her drive way I was a little nervous, she had a huge pile of snow at the end of her drive. I noticed traffic coming both ways so I tried to go fast and sped up. (Beth lives on a main road) Sooooo I gunned it and got STUCK! I felt retarded. Cars were stopping both ways. One car was motioning me to back up and go... I rolled down my window and yelled IM STUCK! Well the Fairborn guys are very nice! The one I yelled at turned around and parked and another guy pulled over. I had at least 3-4 people try and push me out. I had a camera on me but they might have made fun of me if i started to take pictures.

Tomorrow, Tony and I are going to a place where I am considering  to have my reception. It is called Top of the Market. check it out at www.topofmarket.com. Beth just informed me she would not want to be one of the bridesmaids so I will have my sister, Tony's sister, Wobin and possibly Katie. If she wants to be in it too. I will have to ask her again.

My Birthday Bash

Last nite was my birthday! I turned 27. I had a great birthday! Well not the part when I had to wake up at 5AM and head to work. I got off a 3 and went to the BMV. Paid way to much money on a little sticker, which I ripped!  I went home and I took a quick nap, then headed off to El Toro for dinner. You like what my family did to me and asked our waitress for a sombaro. 

I want to thank everyone who made my Birthday so special. Wobin, Bryan, Mom, Dad, Julie, Jack, Cameron, Scott, Theresa and specially Tony! After we ate at El Toro, we decided to hit up Elsa's for some Bad Juans. I love them but I can only have them once a year. They are very strong margaritas. I drank two of them and one strawberry.

Mom and Dad bought me Wii Fit. WOW, it is sooo cool! Tony and I set it up this morning and tested it out. Per the Wii, my age is 24. Tony's is 20. But still overweight! LOL, we will loose it! I will keep everyone posted on what goes on with our Wii fitness.

It's a New Year!

Right when Tony woke up this morning, Gracie really wanted to sit in his lap. Does she look comfortable or does he? Tony and Gracie just got home from the dog park. He just took her up there to play and run around. There were no other dogs there.

I am very late writing this... Tony and celebrated the New Year over at my friends house, Katie and Mike. We drank a bottle of wine and played the game Apples to Apples. A very fun game!  Here are a few pics from that evening. There new puppy! Lazlow. Don't ask where they got that name. Tiger, their child named it after a cartoon. I renamed him LowRider! He is a boxer.

Life at Home Depot

Last night and tonight our closing manager has sent the WHOLE store home! we are sooo slow she lets most of all the closing shifts go home. Well, tonight mother nature delivered nasty COLD snow. Roads have been bad of course, so she asked our returns cashier  to go home. That made me close returns, special service desk and the phones. I had 3 returns from 6PM to 10 PM. 

The only workers at the store was the closing manager (1), Tony(2), Jason(3), KP(4), Me (5) and 3 other cashiers. that was it. I don't understand why we don't close the store at 8 or 9PM. I just found out today that HD pays over $17,000 in utility bills. Heat, water, and electric. Let US LEAVE earlier!!!! Save some money!! 

Monday nite

Today, after I went and worked out I wanted to play the Wii fitness and see if I can make my age younger! I did! I went from being a 51 year old to a 35 year old. I was so proud of myself. Just to let everyone know how I am doing!

thank Tony for coming to bowling tonight. If he doesnt have to work a late nite Tony always comes to watch mom and I bowl. we have fun "calling" people. They're some flavorful characters who go bowling on mondays. Also, we always play a game driving to and from. We call out PADIDLES. A car with one head light. Tony normally wins all the time!

My new header

WOW! i have been trying to design a new header for my blog. I have been on this damn computer for almost 4 hours! I did take a break to play with the Wii. I finally went over 1000 points and now I am a pro in bowling. I did take a Wii fitness test to see how good i am playing tennis, bowling and baseball. Well, the Wii said I was about 51 years old. Tennis is kind of hard. I will have to work on that!

If anyone knows how to fix my header so it doesn't have a white background, comment me!

Wedding planning...

I know, I know! I have been slacking on my blog posting. Today, I have been designing my magnets and centerpieces and invites. I went to the Flower Factory tonight and found these really sharp looking wine glasses. Tall wine glasses. The bottoms looked cracked. I have an idea in mind with flowers or candles or even put battery powered white lights in them, with miniature candles circling them.

Today, I baked cookies. I am really bad about reading recipes first then baking. Well, I messed up with the dough the first time around and had to remake it. Very easy too! Butter, whipping cream and flour! COME ON! I put sugar in them. The sugar was suppose to be sprinkled on top. Here is a picture of my yummy cookies...I also messed up on the icing.. it was so runny. Next time, I will try and thicken it up a bit!

I will remake them for Monday bowling night. Hopefully they turn out more attractive then these!
